The 2025 NHL Draft is approaching quietly but quickly. In about twenty days, we will know what Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens have decided to do with their 16th and 17th overall picks.
That said, we are currently in a key phase leading up to the draft: the famous NHL Combine. Several journalists are on site, including the excellent Nicolas Cloutier of TVA Sports.
In an interview with BPM Sports, Cloutier shared some interesting information :
« The Canadiens would be very happy if Brady Martin or Carter Bear, two very strong strikers, fell to 16th place. »
That is interesting !
Brady Martin and Carter Bear: two potential targets for Kent Hughes and the Canadiens
We already knew pretty well Carter Bear, whose name circulates a lot in recent days, but it is intriguing to’ to learn more about young Martin.
« Not only is Brady Martin the toughest player of his draft year, but he would be one of the biggest knockers in the entire National League if’il played as early as tomorrow morning. »
— Nicolas Cloutier, TVA Sports
J’adore that ! Here are two names to watch closely.
Brady Martin, 18, is a powerful striker measuring 6 feet and weighing 178 pounds. He has 72 points in 57 games this season in the OHL, including 33 goals, in addition to adding 4 points in 5 playoff games.
It certainly seems to be a good choice for the CH.
