Mandatory Credit: Sam Navarro-Imagn Images© Sam Navarro-Imagn Images Because of the lack of elite playmakers that Indianapolis possesses, Warren is expected to play a large role in the offense immediately. He is an extremely versatile player that took snaps at tight end, wide receiver, slot receiver, fullback, running back, and even quarterback last season.With the assumption that he will warrant a bunch of touches early on in his career, there is a good chance that he earns some hardware in his rookie season. However, Gennaro Filice of NFL.com predicted the NFL’s All-Rookie teams and had Loveland being honored over Warren.To be fair to Loveland, the Bears are in a much better offensive situation than the Colts, so that could be a determining factor. Chicago has Caleb Williams under center who is widely expected to be a megastar at some point in his career, and they just recently hired Ben Johnson as their head coach, who is considered an offensive mastermind.However, Warren has earned rave reviews so far during minicamps, so it’s hard not to imagine that his early success will carry over to the regular season. As we get closer to training camp and see the two men on the field during preseason, we will get a better understanding of who is further along so far.
