Arkansas softball’s powerhouse Bri Ellis has been officially crowned Women’s Softball MVP, capping off an unprecedented season that has set both school and national records.
The senior first baseman was named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, Softball America Player of the Year, and SEC Player of the Year, marking the first time in Razorback history that one player has captured all three major accolades .
Ellis electrified the diamond with a jaw-dropping .440 batting average, clubbing 26 home runs, including a dramatic walk-off grand slam against Georgia in the SEC Tournament, and driving in 72 runs—effortlessly setting new single-season records for Arkansas . Her on-base percentage (.639) and slugging percentage (1.090) ranked among the nation’s best, earning comparisons to MLB legend Barry Bonds .
“I’m so humbled,” Ellis said during the MVP presentation. “This award reflects the work of my teammates, coaches, and the Razorback family who have pushed me every day.”
