Final Stretch and Individual Brilliance

As the regular season wound down, Moses continued to impress. He finished the year with:

22 try assists (3rd in NRL)

16 line-break assists

9 forced dropouts

83.5% tackle efficiency (highest among halfbacks)

The Eels secured a top-five finish, setting them up for a genuine finals push. Though they were eventually eliminated in the second week of the playoffs, Moses’s performance was widely credited with rescuing what looked like a doomed season.

2025 Dally M Awards Night: Crowned Halfback of the Year

At the Dally M Awards in Sydney, Mitchell Moses was named the 2025 Dally M Halfback of the Year. He beat out tough competition from the likes of Nathan Cleary and Jahrome Hughes.

During his acceptance speech, an emotional Moses thanked the Eels staff, teammates, and his family:

> “This one means a lot. I wasn’t even sure I’d be playing the first half of this season. To come back, lead this team, and feel the belief around me—I’m just grateful. But we’re not done. I want more than this. I want to win for this club.”

The crowd gave a standing ovation—not just for the award, but for the journey.

A Story of Redemption, Grit, and Growth

Mitchell Moses’s 2025 season was a testament to perseverance, preparation, and leadership. From a foot injury that nearly derailed his campaign to leading the Eels to the finals and winning a coveted individual honor, Moses’s trajectory inspired fans and players alike.

He didn’t just have a great year—he showed how setbacks can set the stage for comebacks.

Looking Ahead: The Legacy Continues

With a new long-term deal, the captain’s armband, and one of the game’s most respected kicking games, Moses is set to be a cornerstone of Parramatta’s premiership aspirations for years to come.

In 2025, he proved he’s not just one of the best halfbacks in the game—but one of the most resilient leaders the Eels have seen in the modern era.
